Good location in relation to the train station which was very convenient. Great working aircon and good bathroom facilities.

One of the managers wasn’t very friendly at check in. She sat and actually ignored us for about 5 minutes while we tried to initiate conversation with her more than twice.

Great small hotel, perfect for travelling couples.

The hotel must have been renovated not long ago. Everything was new and in good order. The bed was exceptionally great with a good firm mattress and perfect pillows. The location was great, very close to Termini which made the train ride from the airport to the hotel a breeze.

The WiFi coverage was ok, not perfect, but ok. However, the actual Internet connection was horrible and most people would get a better connection directly on their phone.

The staff was delightful and allowed us to check in an hour early. The location is right next to the train station, which was convenient upon arrival and departure. The rooms are nice and clean.

The city tax had to be paid in cash upon check-in. It would have been helpful to know this and the cost beforehand.

Beds are hard and not comfortable at all. Bath needs hooks for towels and shelf for accessories.

Wonderful

The location was great, good value accomodation. The staff were amazing and the Trattoria downstairs run by Valentino was very good and he will even play the guitar for you if you are lucky. Glad we stayed here, we could walk to e erything.

Decent 3 star hotel near Termini

The hotel in general is pretty okay, and the location in my opinion is good. I read reviews about it being a dangerous part of Rome near Termini, but I didn't not feel unsafe, even at night. Check in was pretty smooth, altough I was surprised the city tax had to be paid by cash, luckily I had enough on hand. Air condition worked well, and the room was pretty much like in the pictures.

The hotel has obviously seen better days, but nothing too bad, at least in our room.

Location is perfect. It's very clean.

The lady at the reception was tough and talked like a recorded speech. The room was clean and nice but there was no litter bin and on the third day we got one. The cleaning person, every morning, took the used soap (unnecessarily) but never left a new one. Every evening we needed to ask for it at the reception, and once again the lady was rude.

A convenient place for a short stay but you need your own logistics

The location is very convenient since it is right next to the train station. And the price was also very fair. The rook was spacious and the beds were comfortable. Essentials for the money. The personal was also very friendly and gave great advices.

There could have been some supplies of toiletries and other essentials like coffee, cups etc.

Could barely fault our stay at Hotel Valentino Palace. Would stay again.

Michaela was great from our arrival until check out. A map was provided and directions given as well as timings to reach each of the many sights around Rome. The hotel was great and the bedroom had everything we needed.

The hot water could be hit or miss on occasion. Shower gel could be provided to go with complimentary shampoo.

Overall a nice experience

Very clean, the rooms were tidied up every day and we were given new towels every day. Room was spacious. It’s walking distance to most of the attractions and if you don’t fancy walking the metro is just 2 minutes away. Staff were lovely and helpful!

I wouldn’t say this is the best area to stay in if you’re a woman, especially a solo traveler, it didn’t feel safe, but that’s not the hotel’s fault. We didn’t have heating in the room and we were told that it still wasn’t the season for it but it was very cold in the evenings. Eventually they turned it on but that was on our last night.
